General Rules and Regulations
1. Payment of Admission Fee

Students are required to pay their tuition fee and other dues in accordance with the schedule notified by the college authority.

On admission, along with fee payment, three passport size photographs (white background) must be provided to the fee clerks for the student's personal file and college identity card.

Students migrating from other institutions shall not be charged tuition fee for the period already paid for, subject to verification from the fee receipt.
2. Fee Concession / Stipends etc.
A committee is responsible for selecting students for fee concession and stipends. All concessions are valid for one academic year, provided the student's attendance, academic performance and conduct remain satisfactory.
Applications for financial aid or fee concession (duly signed by the student and countersigned by the parent/guardian) should be submitted on the prescribed forms at the beginning of the academic session.
Eligibility Criteria
- If two or more sisters/brothers are studying in Federal Government Colleges, the younger one may be granted half tuition fee concession upon request.
- Students receiving scholarships are not eligible for fee concession.
- Students' Welfare Fund has been established to provide stipends to deserving students. The amount of stipend is determined by the Principal.
3. Attendance (HSSC)
- The college starts at 8:00 a.m. in summer and 8:30 a.m. in winter.
- Students remaining absent continuously for two weeks without prior sanctioned leave are liable to have their names struck off.
- The college authorities shall not be held responsible if students miss information regarding college or public examinations displayed on the notice board due to their absence.
- Students getting married during an academic session may avail leave for only 15 days. Failure to resume classes thereafter shall result in striking off their names.
- The minimum attendance requirement prescribed by the Federal Board is 75% in each subject. Students failing to meet this requirement shall not be eligible to appear in the Board Examination.
4. Promotion / Examination (HSSC-I)
Promotion from HSSC-I to HSSC-II shall be granted according to the rules prescribed by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad. Provisional HSSC-II classes shall commence immediately after the HSSC-I Examination.
Send-up Examination
Send-up Examination is mandatory for forwarding students' admission to the Federal Board.
Use of unfair means in any college examination shall be dealt with strictly and penalties shall be imposed according to Federal Board rules.
5. Public Examination (HSSC)
A student must fulfill the following requirements to appear in the Board Examination:
- She must be a regular and bona fide student of the college.
- She must bear a good character.
- She must have at least 75% attendance in all subjects, including practicals and tutorials.
- She must demonstrate satisfactory academic progress in internal evaluation according to Federal Board guidelines.
6. Format of Leave Application (HSSC)
A leave application should contain the following information:
- The application should be addressed to the Principal and processed through the Vice Principal and Examination Room. Duty leave or medical leave will not be entertained in the classroom.
- The application must be written on plain paper and duly signed by the parent/guardian. Forged signatures will result in strict disciplinary action.
- The student's name, roll number, class and section must be mentioned.
- The exact date(s) for which leave is requested should be clearly stated.
- The number of leaves already availed should be mentioned.
- Leave requests seeking exemption from college examinations, except on medical grounds, shall not be entertained.
7. Leave Rules (HSSC)
a. Leave from College
Students are allowed two leaves per month whenever necessary.
The Examination Department shall digitally maintain the cumulative leave record every month.
b. Medical Leave (HSSC)
- Medical leave up to 20 days may be granted after written approval from the Principal/Vice Principal.
- For medical leave exceeding one week, a medical certificate, doctor's prescription and clinical/pathological test report from a Government Hospital must be submitted.
c. Duty Leave
- All duty leave applications must be signed by the concerned teachers and submitted directly to the Examination Department at the end of the session.
Note: No leave application, duty leave or medical leave shall be entertained in the classroom.
8. Fines and Special Fines
The following miscellaneous fines may be imposed:
- Rs. 50 per day for absence beyond the permitted two days leave per month.
- Rs. 50 per day for remaining absent from classes while present on the college premises.
- Rs. 50 per day for self-imposed preparation leave before examinations.
- Rs. 50 per paper for missing periodical tests and Rs. 50 per paper for missing Send-up or Pre-board examinations. (Medical certificate must be submitted two days before commencement of examination.)
- Carrying a mobile phone is strictly prohibited. A special fine of Rs. 1000 shall be imposed. The mobile phone will be confiscated and returned only at the end of the academic session.
- Rs. 100 per day for improper or incomplete uniform.
- Rs. 50 per event for absence from college functions.
- Rs. 100 each time for violation of discipline.
- Rs. 50 for coming late to college.
