Inter-class Singing Competition (Kalam e Iqbal) 2025

Soulful melodies presenting Iqbal's poetry filled the auditorium of IMCG (PG) F-7/2 Islamabad as the Inter Class Singing Competition 2025 provided a befitting conclusion to the activities of Iqbal Week 2025. The Chief Guest for the occasion was the Principal of the college, Prof. Dr. Fauzia Tanveer Sheikh. The Guests of Honour were the Vice principals Ms. Shabana Tabassum and Ms. Sarwat Nazir. The competition was judged by Ms. Ayesha Anjum (HoD, Economics), Ms. Tanveer Zahra (Dept. of Urdu) and Ms. Sabiha Neelam (Dept. of Mathematics). The students sang renditions of Kalam-e-Iqbal to give a message of faith in God, staunch Muslim identity, hope and determination. In her address, Dr. Fauzia Tanveer Sheikh, felicitated the organisers of the event on its flawless execution. She interacted with the students and exchanged views on different facets of Iqbal's poetry. Through a thorough explanation of his poetic philosophy, she counselled the audience that they should follow Iqbal's manifesto of optimism, self-belief and constant struggle for excellence. The results of the competition are as under: 1st position: Dua Fatima (BS Chemistry I) 2nd position: Ayesha Arshad (BS Islamiat III) 3rd position: Hijaab Farooq (2nd year L) Consolation prize: Hafsa Rashid (2nd year L) The results of the Poster Making Competition for Iqbal Day 2025 are: 1st position: Amber Malik (2nd year G) 2nd position: Maham Imran (1st year O) 3rd position: Hooraim Sajjad (2nd year L) Consolation prize: Haniya Qadeer (2nd year L) The event ended with the presentation of the national anthem.
